Ghanaian youngster Wahab Ackwei has been named the Team of the Week for the fourth time after match-day 11 of the 2019 United Soccer League season.
Ackwei put up an incredible performance in defense for the Kickers as he recorded 10 recoveries, three interceptions and six clearances in Richmond Kickers' goalless draw with FC Tucson.
The 22-year-old is making his fourth appearance on the Team of the Week after three interceptions and six clearances as the Kickers took a point on the road at FC Tucson Saturday night.
He also made a vital block in stoppage time to hold on for the club’s fifth shutout this season.
The former Inter Allies defender has made 11 appearances and scored one goal, with an assist for Richmond Kickers in all competitions this season.
