Ghanaian defender, Wahab Ackwei has been named in USL League One team of the week for the fourth time.
The 22-year-old together with teammate Akira Fitzgerald were the two Richmond Kickers players to make the team of the week.
The former Inter Allies star had previously been named among the best players in week 2, 4 and 5.
Ackwei put in a strong defensive shift for the Kickers as he recorded 10 recoveries, three interceptions and six clearances in Richmond’s 0-0 draw with FC Tucson over the weekend.
His vital block in stoppage time held on for the club’s fifth shutout this season.
