Ghanaian forward Asumah Abubakar-Ankrah bagged a brace for SC Kriens as they defeated Xamax FC 3-1 in the 2020/21 Swiss Challenge League opener on Saturday.
Abubakar-Ankrah put up an incredible performance as he helped his side seal all three points.
The 23-year-old opened the scoring for SC Kriens in the 31st minute before Liridon Muraj doubled their advantage six minutes later with a sublime finish before the break.
After the recess, Raphaël Nuzzolo scored from the penalty spot to halved the deficit for the visitors.
The Ghanaian international hit his brace and his side's third goal from penalty spot in the 70th minute to secure the win for his side in the opening fixture.
He lasted the entire duration of the game.
