Ghanaian attacker Benjamin Tetteh found the back of the net on Friday afternoon to earn a crucial point for Yeni Malatyaspor in the game against Genclerbirligi in the Turkish Super Lig.
The on-loan Sparta Prague winger today earned a starting role for the club when they visited the Eryaman Stadyumu to take on the matchday 26 opponent of the ongoing league season.
Unfortunately for Yeni Malatyaspor they endured a bad start and had Semih Kaya sent off after 21 minutes of play.
Forced to play with 10 men, the team still managed to play well and scored through a smart finish from Benjamin Tetteh in the 34th minute after he was assisted by Mustafa Eskihellac.
Although the visitors hoped to hold on to the finish line, Genclerbirligi fought back and drew level through an own goal from Ertac Ozbir on the hour mark.
In a game where Benjamin Tetteh played full throttle, he impressed and his goal was key to ensure his Yeni Malatyaspor side did not suffer defeat.
