Ghanaian forward Dauda Mohammed signs new contract with Anderlecht

Ghanaian striker Dauda Mohammed has signed a contract extension deal with Belgian outfit RSC Anderlecht after convincing the technical handlers headed by Vincent Kompany with his resurgence of top form.

The 22-year-old joined Anderlecht in 2017 after an impressive performance with Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko.

Despite tipped to leave the club this winter, he has committed his future to the club by signing a three year deal with an to extend for another year after its expiration

According to reports, the enterprising forward is set to play a big role for manager Vincent Kompany in this term's campaign.

Sporting director of Anderlecht, Peter Verbeke after extending contract with the Ghanaian said, ''He enforced this extension all by himself,'' Verbeke told the club's official website

“From a sidetrack, he convinced all coaches that they could be of value to our club. His speed and focus are important qualities that make him important in various positions. ”

Dauda has had loan spells with Dutch Eredivisie side Vitesse Arnhem and Danish lower division outfit Esbjerg fB.
