Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Gyasi elated to extend his Spezia contract

Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Gyasi is delighted to extend his contract with Serie A side Spezia. 

Gyasi, who has been outstanding for his side since joining them in 2016 penned a three-year deal after successful negotiations.

The 26-year-old played an instrumental role for the club before securing qualification to the Serie A from the Serie B.

"The story continues am very happy and proud to be part of this great club and I will do my best to make the club grow always let go eagles," he wrote on Social Media.

He has played all nine Serie A games for the newly promoted side this term, scoring one goal and providing two assists so far.

"Spezia Calcio announce that they have reached an agreement for a contract extension with striker Emmanuel Gyasi, now expiring in June 2023," the club wrote on their website.

Gyasi has played 83 games for the side and has contributed 14 goals in the process since joining the club.
