Ghanaian forward Fatawu Safiu scores late to snatch a point for Trelleborgs in Sweden

Trelleborgs FF scored late on at Vångavallen through Ghanaian forward Fatawu Safiu strike to earn a 2-2 draw against Brage in the Swedish Superettan league. 

The 25-year-old bagged a late goal to end Trelleborgs losing streak in the league as they secured a vital point over the weekend.

Oscar Johansson gave the home side the lead in the 51st minute of the game but Brage levelled two minutes later through Bjarni Mark Antonsson strike.

The visitors then took the lead in the 67th minute from the spot through Christian Kouakou.

With the game headed for a defeat, Trelleborgs pulled parity after Ghana international Fatawu Safiu scored at the dying embers of the game.

He lasted the entire duration of the game with scintillating performance.

The former Asante Kotoko player has made six appearances and scored two goals for the Superettan side so far in the 2019/20 season.
