Ghanaian forward Kwabena Owusu bags first goal as Cordoba CF draw against CD Bajadoz

Ghanaian forward Kwabena Owusu scored his first goal for Cordoba CF in their 1-1 stalemate against CD Bajadoz in the Spanish third-tier league on Saturday night.

The 22-year-old's goal helped Cordoba CF pick up a vital point in their matchday five fixture at the Estadio Nuevo Arcángel.

CD Bajadoz took an early lead in the 2nd minute of the game through Spanish international Gorka Santamaria from the spot.

Owusu scored the equaliser for Cordoba CF with a fine strike to end the game in a 1-1 draw.

The highly-rated youngster lasted the entire duration of the game with his compatriot Kingsley Fobi also featuring for CD Bajadoz.

The draw has lifted Cordoba to the 3rd position on the league log and two points adrift leaders Badajoz.

The Black Meteors of Ghana ace has made four appearances and scored one goal Cordoba CF since joining them on a season-long loan from Leganes.

He was a member of the Black Stars of Ghana squad that played at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations held in Egypt.
