Ghanaian forward Michael Sarpong secures work permit in Rwanda

Ghana international Michael Sarpong is set to feature for Rayon Sports in the Rwandan Premier League after securing his work permit.

Sarpong penned a two-year deal with for Rayon Sports from Dreams FC last month and was very impressive for them in the offseason games.

After waiting close to a month, all his documents are set and he has been granted work permit to ply his trade in the East African country.

“I had my work permit on Wednesday and I am cleared to play in the league. I cannot wait for my official league debut,” Sarpong told footballmadeinghana.com

“Everything is fine here, Rwanda is a nice country, the fans love football and the weather is also conducive. Here is a good stepping stone for any footballer,”

The 22-year-old attacker has already been tipped by the Rwandan media as a player to watch in the league this season.
