Ghanaian forward Richmond Boakye Yiadom joins Chinese side Jiangsu Suning

Black Stars forward Richmond Boakye-Yiadom has joined Chinese Super League outfit Jiangsu Suning  in the ongoing transfer window.

The Ghanaian striker signed a three-year deal with Fabio Capello's side after passing his medical on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old joins from Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade for a fee reported to be around €5.5 million.

The former Juventus striker scored an impressive 42 strikes in 48 appearances for the Belgrade-based side.

He has scored 15 goals in as many games for Red Star Belgrade this season.

Boakye Yiadomhas been on top form for Club and country and was on the radar of several top clubs including Chelsea, where his former manager Antonio Conte is with.

The former Atlanta forward was monitored by Conte in the Europa Cup game against Arsenal and wanted to sign the striker as back up to Alvaro Morata.

Following his move to Asia, the Ghanaian will joined Frank Axheampong as the newest member of the Asian contingent.
