Ghanaian forward William Owusu bagged a brace on his Ajman Club debut in their 2-2 draw against Baniyas in the UAE Pro-League on Thursday evening.

His double helped rescue a point for Ajman in the four-goal thriller at the Baniyas Stadium.

The Ghanaian international scored in either half of the game and was a delight to watch throughout the game.

Ajman Club took the lead through Owusu's strike in the 43rd minute before completing his brace with a fine finish in the 82nd minute.

Fawaz Awana and Ayanda Patosi scored for the home side as they played out a 2-2 draw.

Owusu joined the club as a free agent in the summer transfer window after leaving Belgian Pro League side Royal Antwerp.

He has previously played for Sporting Lisbon and a host of clubs in Europe.

The highly-rated forward was handed his maiden Black Stars call-up after being included in Coach Kwasi Appiah’s 18-man squad for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Harambee Stars of Kenya.
