Ghanaian youngster Timothy Fosu-Mensah is likely to stay at Manchester United for a little longer following the club’s decision to hand him a new contract.
If Fosu-Mensah signs the contract, he will have the chance to prove to new manager Jose Mourinho his worth at the club.
Last week, reports emerged that, the Ghanaian born Dutch player had been told by Mourinho to look elsewhere because he was not going to be part of his plans in the upcoming season.
But after a meeting with Ferguson and the players agent, Mourinho has resolved to give the young defender a chance in his team for the coming season.
