Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak to part company with Richard Attah

Published on: 04 January 2023

Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak is set to part ways with goalkeeper, Richard Attah in the ongoing transfer window.

The 27-year-old has been told to depart the club after failing to establish himself as a regular under Serbian gaffer, Slavko Matic.

The former Elmina Sharks shot stopper was asked to reduce his weight after the arrival of the Serbian trainer.

Attah was placed on diet to ensure his weight reduces but the shot-stopper has refused moving in that tangent, hence the decision cut ties with the player.

He joined the Phobians in December 2019 on a year contract after leaving Elmina Sharks.

The goalkeeper extended his contract for three years in 2020 following his outstanding performance in his first season.

But his contract which was expected to expire at the end of the season has been cut short by the Phobians.

He will have to find himself a new club before the closure of the January transfer window.
