Ghanaian International Nana Opoku Ampomah risks facing sanction from his club Waasland-Beveren after absenting himself from the club’s pre-season training ahead of the 2019/2020 season.

The Belgium top-flight side has already commenced their pre-season training in anticipation of the upcoming season as they look to make a claim for the title.

Reports have indicated that Nana Opoku Ampomah who has been on the radar of several clubs following his impressive performance last season failed to show up for the team’s pre-season training last season.

It is rumored that the move by the player is to force a transfer away from Waasland to Club Brugge in the coming days.

The 23-year old finished last season as one of the best players in the Belgium Pro League after bagging 8 goals in 30 appearances. His dazzling displays for his side throughout the season has linked him with a move to Fortuna Dusseldorf, as well as some other top clubs in Europe.
