Ghanaian midfielder Edmund Addo scores for Sheriff Tiraspol in big Cup win

Ghanaian international, Edmund Addo got his name on the scoresheet on Wednesday afternoon to help Sheriff Tiraspol to record a massive 6-0 win against Saxan Gagauz Yeri.

Sheriff Tiraspol and Saxan Gagauz Yeri today locked horns at the Sheriff Stadium in Tiraspol to battle for a win in Round 16 of the Moldovan Cup.

Having started for his team, Edmund Addo bossed the midfield and was constantly a thorn in the flesh of the opponent.

In the final minutes before the first half break, the player who looks set for a call-up to play for the Black Stars next month scored with a fine effort in the 44th minute.

Before his goal though, strikes from Frank Castaneda, Dago Nadrey, Khalid Basit had already given the home team a healthy lead.

Courtesy of second-half goals from Khalid Basit and Maxim Cojocaru, Sheriff Tiraspol cruised to a delightful 6-0 win against Saxan Gagauz Yeri.
