Ghanaian international, Edmund Addo got his name on the scoresheet on Wednesday afternoon to help Sheriff Tiraspol to record a massive 6-0 win against Saxan Gagauz Yeri.

Sheriff Tiraspol and Saxan Gagauz Yeri today locked horns at the Sheriff Stadium in Tiraspol to battle for a win in Round 16 of the Moldovan Cup.

Having started for his team, Edmund Addo bossed the midfield and was constantly a thorn in the flesh of the opponent.

In the final minutes before the first half break, the player who looks set for a call-up to play for the Black Stars next month scored with a fine effort in the 44th minute.

Before his goal though, strikes from Frank Castaneda, Dago Nadrey, Khalid Basit had already given the home team a healthy lead.
