Ghanaian midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng has resumed training at Beşiktaş after an enforced break by the coronavirus.

The Super Lig has been halted since March following the COVID-19 pandemic, however, the Turkish Football Federation have confirmed that football activities will return in June.

The 33-year-old trained to the pith together with his teammates for the first time as they begin preparations for the league resumption.

Reports went rife last month that Boateng had left Turkey for Italy during the lockdown period due to unpaid salaries.

But the former Barcelona midfielder has returned to complete his loan stint with the White and Blacks following an impressive start since joining them on loan from Sassuolo in January.

He has made six appearances and scored two goals for Beşiktaş this term.
