Ghanaian midfielder Kwame Bonsu was in action for Tunisian giants Esperance as they cruised to a 2-0 win over CS Hammam-Lif in the topflight league.

The 25-year-old was impressive throughout the game, winning and distributing balls effortlessly as Esperance sealed a convincing victory on Tuesday night.

Ibrahim Outtara scored the opening goal for the African champions in the 4th minute after connecting to a Ben Saha cross.

The Blood and Golds continued to pile the pressure on Hammam-Lif but could not double their lead before the first half.

However, their persistence paid off in the second half after Hamdo Al Masri beat off two defenders before rounding the goalkeeper to cooly slot in.

The former Asante Kotoko midfielder lasted the entire duration of the game.

The win keeps Esperance at the summit of the table with two wins in two games so far in the Tunisian Premier League.
