Ghanaian midfielder Manfred Osei hopes latest injury scare is nothing serious

German-born Ghanaian international, Manfred Osei Kwadwo is hoping his latest injury scare is not that serious.

The midfielder since joining German lower-tier side SC Preußen Münster has had to stay on the sidelines for most parts due to an injury blow he suffered in pre-season last summer in a game against Borussia Dortmund II in pre-season.

Due to that, he missed the start of the 2021/22 football season in Germany and subsequently went on to stay out for four months.

Although he was expected to make full recovery this month, he has been hit with another blow after experiencing a torn ligament.

While doctors are still waiting on results for the latest scan done on his torn ligament, the player says he prays it is nothing serious.

“The right knee hurts. I hope it's not too bad," said Manfred Osei Kwadwo who is missing being on the turf with his teammates.

The 26-year-old will be continually monitored by team doctor Dr. Cornelius Müller-Rensmann who has been charged to keep an eye on his situation.
