Ghanaian midfielder Moritz-Broni Kwarteng scores in Hamburg defeat to Wolfsburg in Germany’s Regionalliga

Ghanaian youngster Moritz-Broni Kwarteng was on target in Hamburg SV II in 3-2 loss to Wolfsburg II in Germany’s Regionalliga North on Monday night.

Hamburg SV II took a deserving lead through Kwarteng's strike shot on the 37th minute with a magnificent effort from just inside the box.

Slovenian Blaz Kramer drew Wolfsburg level on the stroke of half-time before Michele Rizzi and Murat Saglam scored after the recess in the 76th and 89th minutes of the game to hand the home side all three points.

The 20-year-old midfielder and his compatriot Aaron Opoku featured for Hamburg in the game.

The defeat leaves Hamburg SV II on the 12th position on the league table with 29 points after 23 round of matches.
