Ghanaian midfielder Junior Safo has expressed his excitement after signing his first professional contract with FC Vizela.
The 18-year-old penned a three-year deal with the club after successful negotiations.
Safo joined the Portuguese lower-tier side from Rising Stars of Africa, a renowned academy located in the capital of Ghana, Accra.
"I am very happy to remain at the club. I want to continue to learn and grow here," he said after signing the contract.
"My expectations for the next season are to help my colleagues, fight for my opportunities, and, who knows, score goals, something I really like to do."
The offensive midfielder was one of the most consistent players of the Vizela U-18 set up.
