The 29-year-old will not be available for Black Stars' 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against South Africa and Sao Tome.

However, Wakaso is reported to have joined group training this week and is expected to be available for manager Asier Geratino's side for the home clash against Eibar.

The former Celtic midfielder missed last Sunday's 3-0 win against Real Valladolid after suffering a fracture to his right hand in the defeat to Osasuna.

He has made 11 appearances for El Glorisso in all competitions so far this season.
