The team based in Berekum has struggled to compete since the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League started although they have managed to secure some impressive results.

Hoping to do better in the second round of the league season, the management of Berekum Chelsea has decided to bring in a new technical head.

The team according to sources had been in touch with a number of tacticians in the last few weeks but has decided that Portuguese trainer Rui Gregorio is the right man for the job.

Should he impress with Berekum Chelsea, coach Rui Gregorio would see his contract extended. In the past, the coach had stints with Belenenses SAD in the Portugal Primeira Liga.
