The Ghanaian pair of Richard Danso and Wahab Ackwei have earned spots on the USL ‘Team of the week’ team sheet following their impressive performances for their respective clubs last weekend.
Highly-rated Danso who is on loan from WAFA scored for North Texas in their 2-1 away win against Tormenta on Sunday. His impressive display for the side helped them to bag all three points at the end of the match.
Akcwei on the other hand, bossed the defense of Richmond Kickers though they lost 1-0 to Forward Madison on Saturday.
The duo joins the likes of Damus, Moshobane, Perruzza, A.Rodriguez, Gomez, Mentzingen, Omsberg, Lee and Silvestre to constitute the USL team of the week.
