Ghanaian players should learn from Sulley Muntari, claims Hearts MD Mark Noonan

Mark Noonan, Managing Director for Accra Hearts of Oak, has expressed his delight following Sulley Muntari's gesture towards the club and has backed Ghanaian players to learn from him.

The former AC Milan midfielder has been training with the Phobians for the past few weeks, giving each player $100 and other items.

According to the former Global Chief Commercial Officer for the World Surf League, what Muntari did should be emulated by other foreign players to aid Ghana Football.

“It’s a tribute to the man for being a great professional, getting his generosity and his unbelievable record, what he is doing is for Ghana Football not just Accra Hearts of Oak."

“He is giving back and the man is not forgetting where he came from, I hope that our players take that as a lesson and as a role model as they progress in their career “ he said.

Sulley Muntari played for Hearts of Oak in their 3-1 victory over Bechem in a friendly game.
