Ahead of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup tournament, there have been pre-selected officials to referee the games.
Unfortunately, no Ghanaian referee has made it to the list of referees that has a total of 19 officials from CAF member associations.
The officials consist of 8 centre referees and 11 assistant referees coming from 15 different countries in Africa.
No official from Ghana made the cut, and hence there will not be any representation for the West African country in the adjudication of games in the 9th edition of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
All pre-selected referees will join the “Road to AUS / NZL” project before the best of them all will be chosen for the tournament.
