Ghanaian Samuel Owusu shines in Al-Fayha's win over Al-Hazem

Ghanaian winger Samuel Owusu shined for Al-Fayha as they defeated Al-Hazem 2-1 in the Saudi Arabia Pro League on Thursday night.

Owusu, who was making his second appearance for Al-Fayha put an incredible performance as he helped his side record a slim win.

The 23-year-old lasted the entire duration of the game for the Saudi side.

The highly-rated youngster joined Al-Fayha FC from Serbian side Čukarički on a three-year deal in the summer transfer window.

The Saudi side were reported to have paid a whopping $3 million to secure the services of the four-cap Ghana international.

He started his professional career in 2014 after signing for Serbian side Radnik Sordolica.

He moved to Turkish side Genclerberligi before returning to the Serbian league to sign for Čukarički in 2017 where he scored seven goals and provided 10 assists last season.

His compatriot Ernest Asante, who plays for Al-Hazem was an unused substitute for the visitors.
