Black Stars No.1 shot-stopper Richard Ofori kept his third successive clean sheet in Maritzburg United's 1-0 win over Cape Town City on Friday in the South African Premier League.

Ofori, who captains Maritzburg guided his side to secure their third league win in a row after failing to pick maximum points in any of their first five.

The 25-year-old lasted the entire duration of the game and was shown a yellow card for time wasting at Cape Town Stadium.

The match was decided by a penalty in first-half stoppage time with Thabiso Kutumela sending Dutch goalkeeper Peter Leeuwenburgh the wrong way.

The Ghanaian joined Maritzburg last year after spending five seasons with Ghana Premier League WA All Stars.
