Ghanaian striker Caleb Ekuban hits brace in Trabzonspor friendly win over ADO Den Haag

Ghana and Trabzonspor striker Caleb Ekuban bagged a brace for his side in their 3-1 friendly win over Dutch side ADO Den Haag on Tuesday.

Ekuban, who is on loan from English Championship side Leeds United was on the scoresheet in the 30th and 80th minutes respectively of the game.

The 24-year-old bagged five goals in all competitions for the Turkish Süper Lig club in the first half of the season.

He is continuing where he left off before the winter break.

The youngster is known for his pace, technical ability and strong physique, however, he had a difficult spell at Championship side Leeds United before joining the Turkish top-flight on loan until the end of the season.

He previously played for Chievo Verona, Südtirol(loan), Lumezzane(loan), Renate(lona) and Partizani Tirana(loan).

Ekuban is eligible to play for both Ghana and Italy at international level. On 12 July 2017, Ekuban revealed it is his intention to represent Ghana.

On 20 April 2018, Ekuban met with Ghana senior national team head coach Kwesi Appiah.
