Ghanaian striker Emmanuel Gyasi has been included in Serie B Team of the Week following his impressive display for Spezia Calcio.
Gyasi put up a Man of the Match performance as Spezia thrashed Cosenza 5-1 in the Italian Serie B on Friday night.
The 26-year-old doubled his side's lead in the 20th minute of the game after Andrey Galabinov had opened the scoring.
After the recess, Giuseppe Mastinu bagged a brace to give Spezia a 4-0 lead before Mirko Bruccini netted a consolation goal for Cosenza on the 63rd minute.
Three minutes later, Gyasi assisted M'bala Nzola to score to wrap up the big win for the home side.
He lasted the entire duration of the game with a scintillating performance.
Spezia are now 4th on the Serie B standings and they have a chance of securing promotion to the Italian top-flight with five matches left to play.
This season, the Ghanaian has made 29 appearances for his club, scored eight goals, and registered five assists.
