Ghanaian striker Emmanuel Gyasi was on target for Spezia as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Cittadella in the Italian Serie B on Sunday.

Gyasi lasted the entire duration of the game as his goal was enough to earn Spezia a vital point at the Stadio Alberto Picco.

The Italian-born Ghanaian forward gave his side an early lead in the 12th minute of the game.

However, his side failed to build on their early advantage as they were pegged back by the visitors to draw 1-1 at the end of the game.

Both teams created lot of chances but couldn't covert them as they shared the spoils in an intense game.

The 26-year-old Ghanaian has scored two goals so far in as many games in the Serie B this season.

Gyasi is eligible to play for the Black Stars despite being born to Italian parents.
