Former Black Stars striker, Kwesi Appiah has expressed his disappointment to Crawley Town’s defeat to Tranmere Rovers over the past weekend.

The striker climbed off the bench to score for his team last Saturday when the team played as a guest to the opponent in the English Football League Two.

Unfortunately, a brace from Peter Clarke powered Tranmere Rovers to a 2-1 home win at the end of the 90 minutes.

Sharing his thoughts after the game, Kwesi Appiah noted that he is disappointed.

“Disappointed. We found ourselves in a good position at 1-1 and I felt like the game was there for us and at the least we should have got was a point. It’s a tough one to take,” the experienced striker said.

Kwesi Appiah added, “The game was different in the second half, we changed the shape slightly it gave us a bit more ground in the game and we tried to create more chances. In the first half we couldn’t quite pull it off.”

The forward since joining the club has played well and keen on working to help the team climb higher on the league table.
