Ghanaian striker Mohammed Anas on target for Polokwane City as they beat defending champions Cape Town City in MTN 8 on Saturday.
The win helped City to advance to the semi-final of the competition.
The 24-year-old scored the opener in the 25th minute of the game after capitalising on poor defending.
City earned a penalty after a one-two between the Ghanaian and Nku forcing Mobara to bring down the latter on the 60th minute.
However, goalkeeper Peter Leeuwenburgh saved Sibusiso Mbonani’s spot-kick.
In the 83rd minute, substitute Charlton Mashumba produced a neat finish seven minutes from time with a curling strike from just inside the box to the bottom corner.
