Ghanaian striker Myron Boadu nets again as AZ Alkmaar thrash Feyenoord

Dutch-born Ghanaian striker Myron Boadu was on target again for AZ Alkmaar as they thumped Feyenoord 3-0 on Thursday evening in the Dutch Eredivisie.

AZ Alkmaar took the lead through the 18-year old in the 39th minute with a fine finish before Calvin Stengs doubled their lead in the 50th-minute of the game.

Oussama Idrissi deepened Feyenoord’s woes when he struck six minutes from stoppage time to wrap up a convincing 3-0 away victory for AZ at De Kuip.

Boadu, who has been one of the standout players in the Dutch Eredivisie has scored four goals and registered three assists for AZ Alkmaar in seven games so far in the 2019/20 season.

The highly-rated forward has also scored three goals in the Europa League for his club.

AZ Alkmaar are presently 3rd on the league table after matchday seven, winning five, drawing one and losing one.

He is eligible to play for Ghana despite featuring for the youth side of Netherlands.
