Ghanaian striker Nafiu Iddrisu joins Ethiopian side Soloda Adwa FC

Ghanaian forward Abdul Nafiu Iddrisu has joined Ethiopian second-tier side Soloda Adwa FC, Footballghana.com can report.

The 33-year-old penned a one-year deal with Soloda Adwa FC on Monday and was unveiled on the same day passing his mandatory medicals and completing the formalities.

Iddrisu has been clubless after parting ways with DR Congo outfit SM Sanga Balende in 2017.

He graduated from Fetteh Feyenoord Academy (now WAFA) and went ahead to join Feyenoord Rotterdam in Netherlands between 2003 and 2006 for trials.

He spent the 2004/05 season on loan in Belgium at Royal Antwerp FC.

The former Asante Kotoko striker later moved to ASEC Mimosas in Ivory Coast, Al Dhafra SC and Sharjah FC in the United Arab Emirates from 2007 to 2009.

He returned to Ghana to play for WAFA in the 2009/10 season before joining joined Asante Kotoko for three years (2010-2013) and also spent two years (2013-2015) at Amidaus Professionals before heading to DR Congo.
