Ghanaian striker Jonah Osabutey scored for Royal Excel Mouscron in their 3-1 away defeat to Gent in the Belgian Pro league on Saturday.
The 21-year-old was one of the best players for his side, however, he couldn't rescue them from suffering a defeat in their match day 22 encounter at the KAA Gent Stadium.
Gent took an early lead through Laurent Depoitre with a fine strike but the former Tema Youth forward pulled the equalizer for his side on the 51st minute of the game.
The home improved after conceding Osabutey's equaliser as they stuck twice through Jonathan David in the 74th and 77th minute to pick up the maximum points.
The Ghanaian was replaced in the 89th minute by Alexandre Ippolito as they chased for the leveler in the dying embers of the game.
Osabutey joined Royal Excel Mouscron on loan from German side Werder Bremen.
He has made 19 appearances for the Belgian side, scored four goals and registered three assist in all competitions so far this term.
