Ghanaian striker Sadat Karim scores sublime goal as Halmstad BK lose to AFC Eskilstuna in the Swedish Cup

Ghanaian forward Sadat Karim scored a sublime goal for Halmstad BK in their 2-1 defeat to AFC Eskilstuna at the Tunavallen Eskilstuna Stadium in Swedish Cup.

The 27-year-old strike was the talking point after the game as he was applauded by fans despite losing 2-1 in extra time to the home side on Sunday.

Ferid Ali opened the scoring for the home side in the 21st minute but Sadat long-range screamer restored parity for the visitors, pushing the game into extra time.

Just as the game was heading into penalty shootouts, Gustav Jarl restored the lead for the home side with just two minutes to end the game.

AFC Eskilstuna won the game but Data was the talking point.

He has previously played Real Tamale, AshantiGold, Berekum Chelsea, Inter Allies, KSF Prespa Birlik and Landskrona BoIS.
