Ghanaian striker Samuel Obeng returns to Real Oviedo training after missing Tuesday's session

Ghanaian international, Samuel Obeng has returned to the training grounds of Real Oviedo today after being absent at the facility on Tuesday, July 20, 2020. 

The Spanish lower-tier outfit is preparing intensively for the 2021/2020 football season where they are hoping to secure promotion from the Segunda.

Yesterday, there were speculations when Samuel Obeng did not show up for training. Some outlets reported that the attacker intentionally did not go for training because he wants to push for a transfer away from the club.

However, today, the Ghanaian attacker has reported to training where he has put in a lot of work with his Real Oviedo teammates.

It is understood that contrary to what people were thinking, he caught a virus and had to receive medical attention.

In the upcoming pre-season friendly match between Real Oviedo and Rayo Majadahonda, Samuel Obeng will be assessed before he will be possibly cleared to feature.
