Ghanaian winger Emmanuel Sabbi bagged his seventh goal of the season as Hobro IK suffered a 3-2 defeat to Randers FC in the Danish SuperLiga on Sunday.
The 22-year-old, who lasted for 60 minutes put up an impressive performance as his side lost at the DS Arena.
The visitors opened the scoring in the 10th minute of the game through Bjorn Kopplin before Vito Hammershoy Mistrati doubled their advantage in the 23rd minute.
Sabbi halved the deficit six minutes later as the first ended 2-1 in favour of Randers.
After the recess, the away side make it 3-1 courtesy Tosin Kehinde's strike in the 65th minute before Imed Louati scored in the 75th minute to end the game in a five-goal thriller.
The defeat leaves Hobro IK 3rd on the league table with 30 points after 31 matches played thus far.
Sabbi has been one of the consistent performers Hobro IK in the on-going season, making 29 appearances in all competitions, scored seven goals and provided one assist in the process.
The highly-rated youngster is expected to leave Hobro IK to join Odense BK after the expiration of his contract next month.
