Ghanaian winger Samuel Tetteh strikes as LASK Linz defeat St. Polten to reach Austrian Cup semi-final

Ghana international Samuel Tetteh was on target as LASK Linz walloped St. Polten 6-0 in the quarter-final of the Austrian Cup on Saturday.

The 22-year-old winger scored in the 70th minute as LASK recorded a huge victory in the competition as they set sights on winning the trophy this term.

LASK took a deserving lead in the 24th minute of the game through Brazilian attacker João Victor Santos Sá's strike before Thomas Goiginger added the second seven minutes later.

Four minutes later Joao Klauss Mello made it three before Santos Sa wrapped up his brace on the day with three minutes to head into the break.

Thomas Goinginger scored his second and LASK’s fifth in the 61st minute.

Tetteh, who was introduced into the game in the 67th minute completed the riot with a superb finish in the 70th minute.

The former WAFA talisman has made 10 appearances and scored once for LASK Linz so far this season.
