English-born Ghanaian international, Tariqe Fosu enjoyed a good day at the office over the weekend when his Oxford United side posted a 2-1 win over Rotherham in the English League 1.

The two lower division clubs met on match week 13 at the New York Stadium hoping to bag all 3 points at the end of the day.

Following a pulsating encounter throughout the 90 minutes, it was the away side who emerged victorious to ensure they amassed all points.

Tariqe Fosu who has been in fine form all season opened the scoring for Oxford United on the 23rd minute after they had dominated play from the early parts of the first half.

Michael Ihiekwe pulled parity for Rotherham on the 35th minute but it was not enough following Matt Taylor's second-half strike which restored the lead for Fosu and his teammates.

Fosu’s goal is his seventh of the season as he continues to perform at the top level in Ligue 1.
