In September while he was still contracted to Hamburg SV, the talented youngster was red-carded in the game against Darmstadt 98 for a bad offense.

Later, Aaron Opoku was suspended for five matches. He subsequently sealed a move to join fellow Bundesliga 2 club FC Kaiserslautern.

Having served all the suspensions, the talented winger is now in line to play his first match for his new club in the German Bundesliga 2 game this weekend.

His team will be coming up against in-form Hamburg SV and will need his quality in an attempt to get a positive result.

According to his manager Dirk Schuster although he does not condone violence, he understands the frustrations that led to the youngster committing the offense that earned him the suspension.

The coach is backing the Ghanaian players to return from his suspension as a better player.
