Ghanaian youngster Dauda Mohammed scores to power Esbjerg FB to first away win

Ghana U-23 striker Dauda Mohammed was on target earlier today to inspire his Esbjerg FB side to a 2-1 victory over Silkeborg IF in the Danish Superliga.

The player who is on-loan from Belgian giants Anderlecht was handed a starting role for his side’s away fixture as they searched for all the crucial 3 points.

At the end of what was a pulsating encounter, Esbjerg FB emerged with the win against the host Silkeborg IF with Dauda Mohammed impressing throughout his stay on the pitch.

With 20 minutes to end proceedings, the match was tied and headed for a draw until the former Kotoko forward popped up and shot his side into the lead with an assist from Ukrainian strike -partner Yuri Yakovenko.

The win is Esbjerg’s first away win of the ongoing campaign which gives them a huge confidence boost going into subsequent matches.

Dauda now has 2 goals after making 10 appearances in all competitions. He will be hoping to add to his tally to help the club climb up the division of the Danish top-flight.
