Ghanaian right-back Jeremie Frimpong sent Celtic fans into frenzy mood on social media sounds as he sounded desperate to get back to action on Monday night.

After intensive training in Dubai during the winter break, the 19-year-old seems to be rejuvenated and eager to get back to work for the second of the 2019/20 season.

Frimpong joined the Hoops last summer from Manchester City on a four deal and has won many hearts already after his impressive season.

The highly-rated defender who made his debut against Partick Thistle has made 14 appearances for Celtic, scored two goals and registered one assist in all competitions so far this term.

He came in as a young prospect with no senior footballing experience, but has now nailed down his place as the club’s first-choice right-back.
