Ghanaian youngster Kwadwo Opoku has shared his excitement after completing a move to Major League Soccer outfit Montreal CF.

The 21-year-old has joined Montreal CF from Los Angeles FC, signing a contract that will keep him at the MLS outfit until the end of December 2023.

Opoku made 19 appearances for Los Angeles, scoring 2 goals and providing 3 assists before his departure. He is expected to finish the season with fellow MLS Club Montreal CF.

"Hi Montreal fans. This is Opoku and I am really excited to get started. See you guys soon," he said in a video announcing his arrival.

Opoku won the 2022 MLS Cup with Los Angeles FC, scoring in the Western Conference final against Austin FC.

The Ghanaian winger made 60 appearances in the regular season for LAFC before starring in the playoffs last year.
