Ghanaian midfielder Majed Ashimeru made his competitive debut for Red Bull Salzburg in their 6-0 drubbing of St. Pölten in the Austrian Football Bundesliga.
The 21-year-old was introduced in the 67th minute of the game to replace Japan international Takumi Minamino, who scored the fourth goal.
He impressed Salzburg head coach Jesse Marsch in their pre-season friendlies against Chelsea and Real Madrid.
Ashimeru was an unused substitute in their opening three matches against Rapid Wien, Mattersburg and Wolfsberger AC.
