Ghanaian youngster, Osman Bukari has named Belgian superstar Eden Hazard as his role model.
The 21-year old signed for Belgian Pro League side KAA Gent in the summer transfer window after excelling in the Slovak top-flight league with AS Trencin.
In Belgium, Osman Bukari has had a strong start and is already one of the best players in his team.
Speaking in an interview with HLN, the pacey forward has opened up on where he gets his speed from.
“My father and my four brothers were all very fast. My father was a sprinter at school, my brothers also did athletics. But I am the only soccer player in the family. My parents have always supported me in that, because they quickly saw that I just wanted to be a footballer,” Osman Bukari said.
Opening up more on his career, Osman Bukari says Real Madrid star Eden Hazard is his role model.
“My role model is Eden Hazard. I watched every video of him I could get. At the academy in Accra they all called me 'Hazard' because I was such a dribbler. What I also admire about Eden: he plays football without stress. If his dribble doesn't work, he'll just try again next time. That's the way I am: you shouldn't be afraid of football, you should have fun with it,” the Ghanaian added.
