Ghanaian youngster Patrick Kojo Asmah has been released by Italian Serie A side Atalanta following the expiration of his contract.
Asmah joined the club in 2016 and failed to impress the technical handlers, hence bringing an end to his four-year stint at the club.
The former Ghana U-20 defender was released after ending his loan spell with Slovakian club FK Senica.
He was a member of the Black Satellites squad at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand in 2015, earning him a move to Italy.
Asmah has previously played for US Salernitana 1919 and US Avellino 1912 in the Italian lower-tier on loan.
