Belgian Pro Jupiler League side, Anderlecht have joined the race to sign Ghanaian youngster, Abdul Mumin.

The FC Nordsjaelland defender has been on a brilliant form and has attracted a lot of interest from top European clubs.

The Purple and White are in search for defender and Mumin has been identified as the right choice by manager, Vincent Kompany, and first-team coach Franky Vercauteren.

According to reports, the hierarchy of the club have already been to Denmark to watch Mumin and are very impressed with his output as they seek to sign him this summer.

The 21-year-old has just one month left on his existing Nordsjaelland contract and he is ready to move out of Denmark as he seeks a new adventure.

English sides Sheffield United and Everton, Rennes of France and Belgian clubs Genk and Anderlecht as potential suitors.

With African players making a huge impression at Anderlecht in recent years, Mumin who has made 22 Superligaen appearances this season could consider there as an ideal place.

Mumin joined FC Nordsjaelland from Right to Dream Academy on July 1, 2016, and went through the under-19 side before gaining promotion to the senior team in June 2018 after a successful loan stint at HB Koge.
