Ghanaian winger Richmond Tachie has joined German lower-tier side Viktoria Koln in the summer transfer window, Footballghana.com can report.
The 20-year penned a deal with Koln from Bundesliga giants Wolfsburg after passing his medicals and completing the formalities.
Tachie was scoring for fun for Wolfsburg’s youth team but failed to break into the first-team squad ahead of the 2019/20 season.
“I’ve joined Viktoria Koln on permanently from Wolfsburg,” he told Ghanasportsonline.com.
Born in Berlin to Ghanaian parents, Tachie has been at Wolfsburg since 2013 after joining from TeBe Youth.
Last season he made 19 appearances and scored nine goals for Wolfsburg II.
He has featured for Germany at various youth levels but he is still eligible to represent Ghana at senior level.
